i was nervous about drawing real figures for the first time :)

Keep a grip on your intrinsic human value. You are young, as you say, healthy and talented. Give yourself time to ripen. There’s no hurry. Very few good things are quick.

Not all goals are clear or easy. The journey itself is sometimes the goal.

About the fear of drawing–do it a lot and it gets easier–and don’t worry too much if it doesn’t look like Michelangelo or De Vinci–you have your own talent and viewpoint–just use it and watch it develop. Best wishes, TW (A fan)

You’re right, Tom. Got to be more patient :/

Maybe someday I’ll be able to get into coloring my drawings. I really like the pastel palette that you use with yours. It creates that storybook mood. Thanks for taking the time to stop by and give me a few tips (I know it’s more difficult because I’ve switched to wordpress)–I’m going to try to bring you to the dark side soon haha.

Such a delicate embrace. Great job Ang, it’s tough to sketch vulnerability.

      Steven,

It’s great to hear from you. Thanks for bearing with the constant “mother” theme. I’m glad you think it goes well here :)

Your blog has some interesting political insight. Will be commenting soon!

AHHH You say this is the first time you drew real figures BY ALLAH ALMIGHTY I’m SO ENVIOUS OF YOU I can’t draw even if you threaten me! :P @_@ Well, I can pray INSHALLAH that I do get to draw like you someday and get some of my manga ideas published ^_^

Angela you are a great human being because many people nowadays don’t even care about their parents but you do and besides my desires I also think how I can make my parents happy. I also want to accomplish my goals for them.

Don’t worry girl – have faith – with a daughter like you they will be bound to have fruits in the future INSHALLAH.

Best of Wishes ^_^ and plough forward with that poetry class!

Yeah, I’m nervous about this advanced poetry class. At the same time, I’ve been needing a good beating. Hopefully, I’ll improve a lot by the time summer rolls around.

      Keep writing, Zarin !

Thanks Nate! I just sketch on the side so I’m more hesitant to share my sketches than poems. I’ll have to put up more soon.
